The FAAC 413 rear bracket supports both welded and screwed attachment — more flexible than motors requiring only welding (DEA MAC) or only screwing (DEA STING). Welding provides a permanent, vibration-proof mount and is preferred for heavy steel or iron gates where the 2000N thrust generates significant bracket stress. Screwing is suited to aluminium gates, powder-coated frames, or installations where future bracket repositioning may be needed. For Abu Dhabi villa gates made from welded iron or steel, welding is recommended. For aluminium or coated frames, correctly torqued bolts with appropriate thread anchors are adequate.
