Compatibility and Installation Notes

Hörmann HSE 4 868 BS should be used with compatible Hörmann BiSecur 868 MHz receivers, garage door operators, and gate automation systems. It should not be assumed compatible with older 40 MHz Hörmann remotes or non-BiSecur systems unless the receiver supports the required coding mode. Before purchase, the existing remote, operator model, and radio frequency should be checked carefully. The remote can usually be taught from a compatible existing transmitter or programmed through the operator, and professional setup is recommended for safe operation. For programming guidance, review the Hörmann HSE 4 BS instructions before installation.

Which Hörmann systems does the Hörmann HSE 4 868 BS remote control work with?

The Hörmann HSE 4 868 BS is a BiSecur 868 MHz remote (868.3 / 868.35 MHz) and should not be assumed compatible with older 40 MHz or non-BiSecur Hörmann systems. If your remote is the 40 MHz type, look at the 2-button Hörmann HSE2 40 instead, and check your operator model before ordering.

How is the Hörmann HSE 4 868 BS remote control programmed to my operator?

The Hörmann HSE 4 868 BS uses self-learning programming, taught from a compatible existing transmitter or programmed through the operator. Keep a working remote or the operator within reach when pairing, and send POWERgate Abu Dhabi your operator model, since the listing gives the method but not the exact button sequence.

The Hörmann HSE 4 868 BS has four buttons — can each one control a different door or gate?

The Hörmann HSE 4 868 BS has 4 buttons, each assignable to a separate function, such as two garage doors and a gate. Each assigned function needs a compatible BiSecur receiver or operator, so confirm how many your site has with POWERgate Abu Dhabi before planning multi-door use.

At AED 295, what does the Hörmann HSE 4 868 BS include, and what is not listed?

At AED 295, the Hörmann HSE 4 868 BS includes the battery and programming instructions, but size, range, and waterproof rating are not listed. The Hörmann BiSecur HS 4 BS costs AED 280, so ask POWERgate Abu Dhabi on WhatsApp +971 50 884 4933 which suits your operator before choosing.
