The SOMFY ELIXO 800’s 128 memorisable RTS channels is three times the ELIXO 500’s 40-channel limit. This capacity is designed for small collective-use gates — residential buildings, gated compounds, or shared Abu Dhabi parking entrances where many residents each have their own RTS remote. At 128 channels, the gate controller accommodates a multi-resident property without running out of receiver memory. Individual remotes can be added or deleted without affecting the other 127 stored channels.

The SOMFY ELIXO 800’s auto-close timer is programmable from 0 to 120 seconds — the gate automatically closes after the set delay following an opening command. At 0 seconds, auto-close is disabled. At 120 seconds, the gate stays open for 2 minutes before closing — enough time for a vehicle to enter and clear the gate path at an Abu Dhabi villa or parking entrance. The orange warning light flashes for a programmable pre-close warning period before the gate moves.

The SOMFY ELIXO 800’s orange light output is 220/230V AC at 60W maximum, designed for a standard mains-connected flashing warning light. The ELIXO 500 3S uses a 24V 15W integrated output — a lower-voltage circuit for a SOMFY-supplied blinker. The 230V output on the ELIXO 800 allows connection of a wider range of compatible warning lights available locally in Abu Dhabi, not limited to SOMFY’s own blinker accessories.
