The LIFE ACER 600 and the LIFE AC4R DL share 230V, RG1R DL board, grease lubrication, 35% duty, IP44, -20°C/+70°C, 10 m/min, encoder, MAXI 2 remotes, VISIO photocells, and SUNLED 23 blinker. The ACER 600 steps up to 600 kg, 700N thrust, 280W, and 95mm pinion height. The AC4R DL handles 400 kg, 500N, 250W, and 99mm pinion height. For Abu Dhabi gates between 400 kg and 600 kg, the ACER 600 is the correct LIFE selection.

The LIFE ACER 600’s 95mm pinion centreline height matches the Acer 1200 (also 95mm) but differs from the AC4R DL’s 99mm. This means the ACER 600 and Acer 1200 share the same rack mounting height, whereas the AC4R DL uses a higher centreline. Installers switching from an AC4R DL to an ACER 600 on the same gate must reposition the rack 4mm lower to match the new centreline, or the pinion-to-rack engagement will be misaligned.

The LIFE ACER 600 delivers 700N thrust for 600 kg — 40% more force for 50% more gate weight compared to the AC4R DL’s 500N at 400 kg. This means the ACER 600 has a proportionally larger force margin above the 600 kg gate’s actual rolling resistance, keeping obstacle detection sensitivity wide and reducing nuisance stops from minor track friction. The ACER 600 uses grease lubrication like the AC4R DL, unlike the oil-lubricated Acer 1200.
