The CAME G4000’s 1:202 gear ratio means the motor shaft rotates 202 times for every one rotation of the output drive. This high reduction produces the 200 Nm maximum torque at the barrier pivot — sufficient to move a 4m boom from standstill. The tradeoff is output speed: the motor spins fast but the arm moves relatively slowly, giving the G4000 its 2–6 second adjustable opening range controlled by the ZL37 panel’s speed setting.

The CAME G4000’s standard colour is RAL 2004 pure orange — a distinctive choice compared to the grey RAL 7015 finish on BFT GIOTTO, MOOVI, and most other barrier brands. Orange provides high visibility at Abu Dhabi parking entrances in low-light conditions without requiring additional reflective markings. For sites where a standard grey appearance is preferred or required, the G4001 stainless steel version is available as an alternative in the same CAME G4000 series.

The LB38 battery card connects 3 × 12V 7Ah batteries to the G4000’s ZL37 control panel, providing emergency power for boom operation during mains outages. At Abu Dhabi parking sites where a power cut must not lock vehicles in or block access, the LB38 allows the CAME G4000 to continue cycling until the batteries are depleted. The LB38 must be ordered and installed separately — it is not included in the standard G4000 packing.

The CAME G4000’s maximum passage width is 4m with no accessories on the boom. When accessories such as a rubber safety profile, LED lighting strip, or articulated joint are fitted to the arm, their physical width and the pivot bracket geometry reduce the effective clear opening to 3.5m. Abu Dhabi installers planning to add safety edges or LED boom strips to the G4000 must account for this 0.5m reduction when verifying that the lane width is within the 3.5m accessorised limit.

Both are intensive-use 24V DC barriers with IP54 and 4m clear opening. CAME G4000: 200 Nm, ZL37 board, 1:202 ratio, 2–6s, 300W, RAL 2004 orange, AED 4,350. The BFT GIOTTO BT A 30 U: MERAK BG board, encoder impact, U-Link, cataphoresis finish, grey RAL 7015, AED 3,700 (barrier body only).
