The 5m version ships with a 5m boom arm at AED 3,400 vs AED 2,950 — AED 450 more for the additional boom length. The balancing spring must also be matched to the 5m arm’s heavier weight, which LIFE confirms requires selection based on boom configuration.

LIFE specifies that the balancing spring for the SU4 24 DL is selected based on: boom arm length (3–5m), boom material type, rubber protection profile presence, luminous cord attachment, and mobile support bracket configuration. Each factor changes the arm’s effective weight at the pivot.
