The Nice THOR 1500 and Nice RUN1500 both handle 1500 kg at 230V with electromechanical limit switch and incorporated control. The THOR 1500 uses multi-code 5-protocol radio, traditional wiring (no BlueBUS), 800N max / 360N nominal, 15 cycles/hour at 6m, and motor-only packing at AED 1,675. The RUN1500 uses 24V DC, BlueBUS, 6 programmable speeds, 60 cycles/hour, and Z18 M4 pinion at AED 2,525. THOR 1500 is the simpler, more affordable traditional option.

The Nice THOR 1500’s built-in multi-code receiver supports O-Code, FloR, TTS, Flo, and Smilo at 433.92 MHz — five separate NICE radio encoding formats. This is the widest protocol compatibility of any NICE sliding gate motor in the POWERgate Abu Dhabi range, allowing the THOR 1500 to work with older FLO remotes, newer rolling-code Smilo transmitters, and intermediate formats. Abu Dhabi customers upgrading from an existing NICE gate system can retain their existing NICE remote controls without purchasing new transmitters.

The Nice THOR 1500’s 5 consecutive cycle limit means the gate can open and close a maximum of 5 times in succession before the motor requires a thermal rest period. At 15 cycles per hour at a 6m leaf, this is a low-usage specification suited to residential gates with infrequent vehicle movements throughout the day. Abu Dhabi sites expecting continuous vehicle throughput — such as high-traffic parking or logistics entrances — should specify the higher-duty RUN1800 or RUN2500 instead.

The Nice THOR 1500 carries a 24-month Nice warranty. Standard packing includes motor, built-in control unit, incorporated multi-code receiver, and manual release key only — no accessories.
