The NICE M-FAB range covers four power supply versions. MFAB3000 and MFAB3010: 230V AC, suited to mains-powered residential and commercial installations. MFAB3000/110: 110V AC, the only underground swing gate motor in the range with a 110V option, suitable for properties with North American or older UAE 110V supplies. MFAB3024: 24V DC, enabling battery backup operation. MFAB3024HS: 24V DC high-speed version as supplied in the NICE M-FAB HS kit. Each version uses the same IP67 underground housing at 11–11.5 kg.

For gate leaves exceeding 2.5 metres, NICE explicitly recommends fitting an electric lock alongside the M-FAB motor. The manufacturer names two compatible models: NICE PLA10 and NICE PLA11 — NICE’s own bolt-lock accessories designed for underground gate systems. Beyond 2.5m, the wind-catch area of a gate leaf generates lateral force at the latch point that the motor’s mechanical self-lock cannot reliably hold in Abu Dhabi’s outdoor conditions. The PLA10/PLA11 locks provide the additional holding force needed to secure the gate between motorised cycles.

The NICE M-FAB range offers three duty levels. The 30% models (MFAB3000, MFAB3000/110) suit standard Abu Dhabi residential villas with 15–20 gate cycles per day. The 40% model (MFAB3010) suits properties with above-average daily traffic requiring more cycles. The NICE M-FAB models offer three torque levels. MFAB3000 and MFAB3000/110: 300 Nm — highest in the M-FAB range, suited to heavier or stiff-hinge gates. MFAB3010 and MFAB3024: 250 Nm — mid-range for standard residential gates. MFAB3024HS: 180 Nm — lowest, reflecting the speed-torque trade-off of the high-speed variant. All models handle gate leaves up to 3m. For Abu Dhabi gates with heavy solid-steel panels or gates with ageing hinges requiring more starting force, the 300 Nm MFAB3000 is the correct specification.

NICE lists MFAB3000L as a distinct variant in the M-FAB range alongside the MFAB3000. The “L” suffix in NICE’s product nomenclature typically denotes a model with a longer output arm or extended foundation configuration suited to gate hinges that are offset further from the standard pit position. This gives installers a solution for Abu Dhabi gate posts where the hinge geometry or pillar depth prevents the standard MFAB3000 from being positioned within its required alignment.
