The NICE SPIN30 includes a galvanised steel belt guide in three separate 1m sections that join to form a 3.15m total guide. Marantec’s SZ rail series uses two pieces of unequal length. Three equal 1m sections are shorter and more manageable during transport and installation in tight Abu Dhabi garage spaces — each piece fits in a standard car boot, and the useful stroke of 2.5m covers standard villa garage doors up to approximately 2.3–2.4m high within the SPIN30’s rated limits.

The NICE SPIN30’s 0.036W standby consumption on Solemyo/battery operation is among the lowest idle power figures in the garage door motor range. While mains-connected standby is 0.8W, the solar/battery standby drops to just 0.036W — less than one-twenty-second of a watt. This ultra-low idle draw allows the Nice Solemyo solar system to sustain the SPIN30’s electronics for extended periods without charging, making it a viable option for Abu Dhabi garage doors where mains supply is limited or where solar autonomy is a priority.

The NICE SPIN30 motor weighs 3.6 kg and includes the galvanised steel guide rail in the standard packing.
