An undersized door risks overforcing or inaccurate obstacle detection. A two-leaf sliding door consists of two panels that slide horizontally apart in opposite directions to open — each leaf slides into a wall pocket or alongside the building face. Unlike sectional doors that fold upward along ceiling tracks, two-leaf sliding doors remain in the same vertical plane and require horizontal drive force rather than vertical lifting.
