- Heat: Keep the opener head out of direct sun where possible and do not leave the cover off, so heat above 45°C and dust stay out.
- Dust and sand: Clean and lightly grease the rail and runners every few months. A dirty or dry rail makes the opener work harder and wear faster.
- Door balance: If the door feels heavy when you lift it by hand, it is out of balance and overloads the opener. Have the springs checked.
- Power and safety: Voltage spikes damage control boards, so use a surge protector. Keep the safety sensors aligned and clean, so the door stops safely when something is in the way.
