The LADY.I stainless steel version uses a stainless steel housing instead of the standard powder-coated steel enclosure. This is the correct choice for Abu Dhabi coastal properties, beachfront compounds, or humid environments where salt air accelerates corrosion on standard painted metal surfaces. Standard models suit inland Abu Dhabi sites where corrosion from humidity is lower. The LADY.I is the only stainless steel option in the Benincà barrier range at POWERgate Abu Dhabi.

The CP.LADY is Benincà’s control unit for the LADY, LADY.5, and VE.650 barrier series — a separate board family from the CP.EVA used across the EVA.5, EVA.7, and EVA.8. The two units are not interchangeable. When ordering replacement boards or accessories for an existing LADY installation, the CP.LADY must be specified; substituting a CP.EVA would not be compatible with the LADY’s wiring and configuration.

The Benincà LADY fills the gap between the DIVA.3’s 3m and the BENINCA EVA.5’s 5m passage width. At 4m, it suits Abu Dhabi standard single-vehicle lanes that are slightly wider than a DIVA.3 covers — such as wider driveway entrances, service vehicle lanes, or residential compound gates where a 3m boom would be too short but a 5m boom is unnecessary and more costly.

At 195 Nm, the LADY has the lowest torque in the Benincà boom-barrier range — appropriate for its lighter 4m arm. Adjustable slow-downs allow the installer to programme the point at which the boom decelerates before reaching the fully open or fully closed position. Correct slow-down calibration reduces mechanical end-stop impact, protects the boom arm from stress fatigue, and lowers noise at Abu Dhabi residential sites.

The LADY’s integrated CP.LADY receiver holds 64 transmitters — sufficient for villa compounds or small commercial parking areas. FTC.S photocells can be installed using Benincà’s concealed wiring system, keeping cabling inside the boom and housing. Standard packing includes: LADY barrier body with integrated CP.LADY control unit, integrated receiver, encoder, and battery charger. Foundation plate and boom arm must be confirmed separately.
