The CAME BKV15AGS represents the premium BKV line above the standard CAME BK 1800 BK range. The BKV15AGS uses a 36V DC motor at continuous service duty, IP54, graphic display control board, Adaptive Speed & Torque Technology, and 4 configurable safety inputs. The BK 1800 uses a 230V AC motor, cycle-based duty, IP44, standard programming display, and 1150N thrust. At 1500 kg, the BKV15AGS is suited for high-traffic continuous-use sites; the BK 1800 at 1800 kg handles heavier gates on standard 230V mains.

Yes — the CAME BKV15AGS’s 36V DC motor supply is the only 36V motor in the POWERgate Abu Dhabi sliding gate range. All other DC motors in the range use 24V (BFT DEIMOS/ARES range, BENINCA BULL range). The 36V motor operates from the BKV15AGS’s integrated control board (product code 801MS-0300), which converts 230V mains to 36V. A higher motor voltage than 24V allows the motor to deliver more power from a smaller current draw, contributing to the continuous service duty rating and smooth Adaptive Speed performance.

CAME’s Adaptive Speed and Torque Technology on the BKV15AGS continuously monitors and adjusts the motor’s speed and torque throughout every gate cycle. When the gate encounters increased resistance (a slight slope, track friction, or wind load), the system increases torque automatically to maintain consistent movement speed. When resistance drops, it reduces torque to avoid overshooting the stop position.
