The DEA REV KIT and the DEA LIVI 9X/E/M 900kg are both 230V DEA sliding gate motors with speed adjustment, slowdown, and encoder obstacle detection. The REV KIT steps up to 1400 kg, 900N, 500W, 14µF capacitor, Z18 pinion, NET230N board, 220 cycles/24 hours at 8m leaf. The LIVI 9X/E/M handles 900 kg, 490N, 450W, 12.5µF, Z16 pinion, 212E board, 40 cycles/24 hours at 5m leaf. The REV KIT is the industrial-class DEA motor for 230V installations above 900 kg.

The DEA REV KIT’s 220 cycles per 24 hours is the highest daily cycle rating in the DEA sliding gate range, measured for an 8m gate leaf. The LIVI 9X/E/M is rated at 40 cycles/24 hours for a 5m leaf. At 220 cycles, the REV KIT can operate approximately 9 full open-and-close cycles per hour across a full day without thermal overload. This reflects the REV220 motor’s heavier-duty design for industrial and commercial sites. Note that the 220-cycle limit is based on an 8m leaf; shorter leaves may yield more cycles per hour at this motor’s specification.

The DEA REV KIT’s 14µF built-in capacitor is the largest in the DEA sliding gate range, providing the strongest reactive current surge at motor startup to overcome a 1400 kg gate’s significant standing inertia before steady-state current settles. The Z18 M4 pinion (18 teeth) has more contact area with the rack than the LIVI range’s Z16 or Z14 pinions, distributing the 900N force across more tooth contacts simultaneously, reducing per-tooth stress at the higher load and extending pinion and rack life under 1400 kg industrial cycling.

The DEA REV KIT uses the NET230N control board — the same board as the LIVI 6N. Unlike the 212E board in the LIVI 9X/E/M (which explicitly states NETLINK incompatibility), the NET230N is named for its NETLINK-compatible architecture. This allows the optional DEA NETLINK GSM module to be connected for remote monitoring and control via mobile phone. For Abu Dhabi commercial or industrial sites where the property manager needs remote gate status and control without being on-site, the REV KIT’s NET230N makes GSM remote management available.

The DEA REV KIT 1400 KG carries a 24-month DEA warranty. Kit includes: 1 x REV220 motor with electromechanical limit switch, 1 x NET230N control unit, 2 x DEA GT2 remotes, 1 x LINEAR photocell pair, 1 x built-in receiver, 1 x blinker light, 1 x 4m nylon rack, and 1 x push button. At 18 kg packed, the REV KIT is the heaviest DEA LIVI/REV motor. IP protection is not specified — request the DEA REV220 datasheet before outdoor installation.
