Both the DEA LIVI 9X/E/M and the DEA LIVI 6N use 230V, 10 m/min, self-locking, electronic force adjustment, automatic working-time learning, IP44, +50°C, DEA GT2 remotes, LINEAR photocells, and 4m nylon rack. The 9X/E/M steps up to 900 kg, 490N, 450W, 12.5µF, magnetic limit switches as standard, and 11 cycles/hour. The LIVI 6N handles 600 kg, 340N, 320W, 8µF, 18 cycles/hour with electromechanical limit switches standard. The 9X/E/M is the top of the DEA LIVI residential range.

The DEA LIVI 9X/E/M includes magnetic limit switches as the standard configuration, while the LIVI 6N comes with electromechanical limit switches as standard and requires the separate LIVI 6N/M variant for magnetic limit switches. Magnetic limit switches use a contactless magnet-and-sensor detection method for the gate’s open and closed positions, providing more precise position sensing without physical contact wear over time. For a 900 kg gate cycling daily, the contactless magnetic switch’s durability advantage over a mechanical contact switch is practically significant for long-term reliable limit detection.

DEA explicitly states the LIVI 9X/E/M is not compatible with NETLINK when using the 212E control board.
