The PROTECO MEKO 5 is an Italian 230V irreversible electromechanical gearmotor for rack-driven sliding gates up to 500 kg, delivering 350N at 10.5 m/min with 40% duty, 8µF capacitor, IP44, 150°C thermal protection, and electromechanical limit switch. Its compact slim design and adjustable fixing plate suit Abu Dhabi villa pillars with limited recess space. The kit includes PROTECO Angie remotes, photocells, receiver, blinker, and 4m nylon rack.

The PROTECO MEKO 5’s adjustable fixing plate allows the motor’s mounting position to be moved horizontally or vertically within a defined range after the anchor plate is fixed to the foundation. This accommodates minor rack height variations or foundation positioning tolerances without re-drilling the anchor bolts. For Abu Dhabi gate installations where the concrete pillar base or foundation plate position cannot always be set to the exact theoretical position, the adjustable plate reduces installation rework and simplifies pinion-to-rack alignment.
