Yes. With a 400mm standard stroke, 2800N of thrust, and IP54 protection (rated against dust ingress and water splashing), the BILL40M is engineered for gate leaves up to 3.5 metres — the typical range for wider double-leaf villa driveways in Abu Dhabi with heavier forged iron or wrought-iron construction. Its operating temperature range of -20°C to +50°C and stainless steel stem with scraper-ring protection make it well-suited to Abu Dhabi’s high ambient temperatures and dusty outdoor conditions.

The BILL40M’s 30% duty cycle permits approximately 15 to 20 open/close cycles per day at normal operating temperatures. Each full cycle on the BILL40M takes approximately 38–40 seconds (18 seconds open + similar close time), and the 30% figure means the motor should not be running for more than 30% of any continuous period. For a family villa with moderate daily vehicle movement, this is more than adequate. The kit weight of 15.5 kg (including both motors, HEADY unit, photocells, flasher and remote) reflects the BILL40M’s heavier build compared to the BILL30M kit at 14.6 kg.

The BILL40M uses the same top-access manual release design as the wider BILL range. The personalised key supplied in the kit is inserted into the top of the motor housing to disengage the 400mm stroke actuator from the irreversible worm gear mechanism, allowing the gate leaf to be pushed by hand. Because the BILL40M’s irreversible motor prevents the gate from being forced open without releasing the actuator, the top-access release is the only manual method of operation during a power cut — the key should be stored in an accessible, fixed location near the gate.

Yes. The HEADY 230 Vac control unit included in the KBILL40M kit supports connection of a GSM opener, video intercom, keypad, or RFID reader via its dedicated auxiliary and stop input terminals. The HEADY provides independent electronic torque adjustment for each of the two BILL40M actuators, an integrated 433.92 MHz receiver with rolling code support, LCD programming display, and separate photocell inputs for opening and closing phases. The included TO.GO2VA 2-channel remote operates on 433.92 MHz and pairs directly to the HEADY receiver out of the box.

The BENINCA BILL40M carries a 24-month manufacturer warranty covering factory defects in materials and workmanship under normal operating conditions. Warranty is invalidated by power surge damage, mechanical stress from incorrect bracket geometry on the 400mm stroke actuator, or unauthorised modification of the motor or HEADY control unit.
