The Benincà EVA.7’s 7.0m boom arm covers wide vehicle lanes found at Abu Dhabi warehouse loading docks, dual-lane parking entrances, hotel drop-off zones, and industrial facility access roads. Standard single parking lanes are 3–4m wide; dual carriageway entrances reach 6–7m. The EVA.7 is the widest barrier in the Benincà range at POWERgate Abu Dhabi, handling spans that would require two narrower barriers in a split configuration.

The EVA.7’s adjustable 3.5–6 second opening range lets installers tune arm speed to site conditions. A 3.5s faster setting suits high-throughput Abu Dhabi commercial entrances where vehicles queue. A 6s slower setting is safer at sites with pedestrian exposure or where the long 7m arm’s momentum at higher speed could cause damage if the arm contacts an obstacle at full travel velocity.

The optional SIS board synchronises two opposed EVA barriers on the same lane — one on each side of the road — so both arms open and close simultaneously from a single command. At Abu Dhabi dual-barrier installations on wide roads where two barriers face each other, SIS prevents one arm opening while the other remains down, ensuring coordinated vehicle flow without needing separate wiring between the two control units.

The EVA.7’s 285 Nm torque far exceeds the Benincà DIVA.3’s brushless motor output, reflecting the mechanical load of moving a 7m aluminium boom arm versus a 3m arm. A longer arm creates more rotational inertia at the pivot point; 285 Nm provides the force to accelerate and decelerate the 7m arm reliably across intensive-use cycles at Abu Dhabi commercial sites.

The EVA.7 must be specified as right-hand or left-hand version based on the approach direction at the Abu Dhabi site. The unit uses grease lubrication (vs oil on the DIVA.3) and stores 64 transmitters in the integrated receiver — sufficient for smaller managed sites.
