Both the Ditec NeoS and Ditec ION B use 24V DC motor, virtual encoder, obstruction detection, soft start, -20°C/+55°C, and 433 MHz. The NeoS provides Class 4 heavy-duty rating, display-based force and speed setup, IP24D, 12m (400kg) or 20m (600kg) leaf, SF fast version, solar-energy SBU accessory, and 9 model codes. The ION B provides built-in Bluetooth, selectable 433/868 MHz, integrated datalogging, IP44, and tested to 150,000 cycles. Choose NeoS for Class 4 heavy-duty and solar readiness; ION B for Bluetooth diagnostics and IP44 protection.

The Ditec NeoS’s IP24D rating is an extended IP notation: the D indicates the motor housing includes a drain hole, allowing any water that enters during splash exposure to drain out rather than accumulate. The 2 confirms protection against solid objects larger than 12mm, and the 4 confirms water splash from any direction. IP24D is therefore lower dust protection than IP44 (which protects to 1mm solids) but adds the drain feature that standard IP24 lacks. For Abu Dhabi, the limited dust protection means a sheltered pillar position is important to prevent fine sand accumulation.

The Ditec NeoS SF (Special Fast) versions — NES600EHSF and NES600EHSFJ — extend the maximum gate speed to 0.1–0.4 m/s (6–24 m/min), compared to standard NeoS models at 0.1–0.25 m/s. The Ditec NeoS range covers 9 models: 400 kg versions (NES400EH, EHP, EHJ) and 600 kg versions (NES600EH, EHP, EHSF, EHJ, EHSFJ). For Abu Dhabi’s standard 220–240V supply, specify the EH or EHP (standard) or EHSF (fast) versions. The J suffix models are for 120V AC supply (used in US and Japanese markets) and are not suitable for UAE mains. The P suffix typically denotes a kit with additional accessories.
