Galvanized steel resists corrosion from Abu Dhabi’s humidity and salt air over time, and the steel profile provides greater rigidity than aluminium-extruded rails under the 1200N traction load of heavier garage door panels. The two-part construction allows the track to be assembled to the specific ceiling height of the garage, accommodating the variable ceiling clearance found across Abu Dhabi villa garage dimensions.

A standard belt rail uses rubber or polyurethane belt without internal reinforcement. The LIFE PROBO PR120 XL’s nylon belt reinforced with steel cables embeds multiple steel cables longitudinally through a nylon outer profile, providing tensile strength against the 1200N carriage load. Nylon reduces noise compared to metal chain while the steel cables prevent belt stretch and snap under sustained high-force cycling.
