The NICE ROX600 and Nice ROX1000 are both 230V NICE ROX sliding gate motors with electromechanical limit switch, bearings, key-lock release, and incorporated radio. The ROX600 handles 600 kg at 600N, 300W, 1.4A, 8m leaf, and ships as a complete kit including rack, remotes, photocells, receiver, blinker, and push button. The ROX1000 handles 1000 kg at 800N, 350W, and ships as motor only. At AED 1,275, the ROX600 is more complete out of the box.

The NICE ROX600 uses the ROA40 integrated control unit, while the NICE ROBO600 uses the ROA41. Both are NICE-specific boards for 230V residential sliding gate motors at the same 600 kg weight class and AED 1,275 price point. The ROA40 and ROA41 share the same installation ecosystem (OXI receiver, EPM/ON2E accessories) but may differ in programmable function count, obstacle detection sensitivity range, and available output configurations. For specific programming differences, refer to each unit’s official NICE manual.

The NICE ROX600’s 20 cycles/hour allows one complete open-and-close every 3 minutes — sufficient for a standard Abu Dhabi villa gate with 15–25 daily vehicle movements. The 8m maximum leaf length is specified, covering standard residential gate spans. At 0.18 m/s (10.8 m/min), a 4m gate opens in approximately 22 seconds. For compound gates with leaves longer than 8m or frequency exceeding 20 cycles/hour, the ROX1000 or ROBUS range should be specified instead.
