The Nice SpinBus kit includes the OXIBD plug-in bidirectional radio receiver. A bidirectional receiver not only receives commands from the transmitter but also sends a confirmation signal back to the transmitter acknowledging the door has received and is executing the command. For Abu Dhabi villa owners sending a close command from their car and driving away, bidirectional confirmation removes the uncertainty of whether the garage door received the signal, confirming the door began closing without having to wait and watch.

The NICE SPIN30 includes a guide in three equal 1m sections. The Nice SpinBus includes the SNA6 track as one 3m section and one 1m section. The total length is the same at approximately 3–3.15m, but the section split differs. The 3m section of the SNA6 is a longer single piece requiring more ceiling clearance to manoeuvre during installation; the SPIN30’s equal 1m sections offer more flexibility when working in low-headroom Abu Dhabi garage ceilings. Both systems achieve the same useful travel stroke.

The Nice SpinBus’s partial opening function opens the garage door to a defined intermediate position rather than the full travel height. This allows ventilation of the garage interior — useful in Abu Dhabi where enclosed garages heat up rapidly in summer — while preventing full vehicle access. A separate command triggers partial opening; a subsequent command completes the full travel.
