The D20 handles 2000 kg at 18 m/min, 52kgf starting force, 13T M4 pinion, 45% duty, and 25m max leaf. The D10 handles 1000 kg at 26 m/min, 40kgf starting, 17T M4, and 50m leaf. For gates above 1000 kg in Abu Dhabi, the D20 is the correct CENTURION specification.

The Centurion D20 SMART uses a 13-tooth Module 4 pinion versus the D10 SMART’s 17-tooth M4 pinion. Fewer teeth on the drive pinion means a lower gear ratio between the motor shaft and the rack, producing higher force per motor revolution at a lower linear speed. This is why the D20 delivers a higher starting force of 52kgf vs the D10’s 40kgf, while moving at 18 m/min instead of the D10’s 26 m/min.
