The NICE TOO3000 produces 300N at nominal (continuous) operation and up to 2000N at peak force — a 6:1 ratio between sustained and peak output. The nominal 300N is what the motor delivers during steady gate movement; the 2000N peak activates momentarily to overcome gate inertia at startup or push against an obstacle. This is the widest nominal-to-peak force ratio of any motor in the POWERgate Abu Dhabi range, reflecting the telescopic mechanism’s ability to generate high instantaneous mechanical advantage when the telescoping stages are near full extension.

The NICE KIO is a key-operated selector switch included in the TOO3000KCE kit. It provides a physical keyed control point that can trigger gate open, stop, or close commands independently of the remote control transmitters. The key switch requires physical possession of the correct key to operate, making it suitable for Abu Dhabi security applications where a secondary authorised-entry point is needed — for example, at a guard booth, intercom post, or side access point. It is also useful as an emergency override when the radio receiver fails and remote operation is unavailable.

The NICE TOO3000KCE kit supplies 2 x TOO3000 motors, 2 x INTI2 transmitters, 1 x OXIBD bidirectional receiver, 1 x EPM photocell pair, 1 x ELDC flashing light, 1 x TS signboard, 1 x KA1 accessory kit, and 1 x KIO key switch — but no control unit. A compatible NICE control panel must be sourced separately before installation can proceed. The NICE TOO3000 motor’s 24 cycles per hour means a maximum of approximately 10–15 full gate cycles per day for a standard residential pattern. The motor handles gates up to 3m and 300kg within this duty envelope. For sites with higher gate frequency, the Toona HS range (95 cycles/hour) or NICE underground motors with higher cycle ratings would be the appropriate selection.

The NICE TOO3000KCE carries a 24-month manufacturer warranty. Critical checks: a compatible NICE control unit must be confirmed and ordered separately before installation; the TOO3000’s 230V 50Hz supply, peak 1.5A/340W draw, and force profile must match the panel specification. Gate leaves must move freely — stiff hinges cause the 300N nominal force to be exceeded on every cycle, accelerating wear.
