The Proteco ACE TI range covers four versions. ACE 3 TI 230V: gates up to 2m/350kg at 300W, 3000N, 40% duty. ACE 4 TI 230V: gates up to 3m/400kg at 300W, 3000N, 40% duty. ACE 3 TI 24V: gates up to 2m/250kg at 50W, 2500N, 80% duty. ACE 4 TI 24V: gates up to 3m/300kg at 50W, 2500N, 80% duty. Choose 230V for heavier gates and higher weight capacity; 24V for battery backup capability and 80% duty at lighter gate weights. The kit supplied here is the ACE 3 TI 24V.

The Proteco ACE TI is the only swing gate motor in the POWERgate Abu Dhabi range to specify a bronze transmission shaft. Bronze provides excellent tribological properties: it is self-lubricating at the contact surface, highly resistant to corrosion, and produces less friction heat than steel-on-steel contact. In the ACE TI’s linear drive mechanism, the bronze shaft reduces wear at the screw-and-nut interface — the highest-stress point in a linear actuator. This reduces lubrication frequency requirements and extends the motor’s mechanical service life in Abu Dhabi’s high-temperature outdoor environment.

The Proteco ACE TI 230V’s 3000N maximum thrust is among the highest of any surface-mounted swing gate motor in the POWERgate Abu Dhabi range for its gate size class. For comparison, the FAAC 413 delivers 3000N (at 2.5m), and the CAME AXO AX302304 reaches 4500N (for heavier gates). The ACE TI’s 3000N at 300W for 2–3m gate leaves means the motor maintains a comfortable force margin when pushing heavy solid-panel steel gates at the limit of the 350–400 kg specification across Abu Dhabi villa driveways.

The Proteco ACE TI 24V’s 80% duty cycle ties it with the KEY STAR 900, LIFE Armor, and Marantec ST 300 for the highest duty rating among surface motors in the range. At 80%, the 24V ACE TI can run for 48 minutes of every hour before thermal rest is needed. For Abu Dhabi apartment blocks, gated communities, or shared compound entrances with near-continuous gate demand, the 24V ACE TI’s 80% duty delivers high-frequency performance with the added benefit of 24V battery backup compatibility during power cuts.

The Proteco ACE 3 TI 24V kit includes an integrated control unit built into the motor housing and a built-in receiver rather than a separate plug-in receiver module. This reduces the installation footprint: no separate control panel enclosure is needed on the gate pillar, and no external receiver socket must be wired. The self-contained design simplifies installation significantly for Abu Dhabi gate fitters, as the motor, controller, receiver, and logic are all within the same housing.
